Youngest Upazila Vice-chairman of BD‍‍`s History

 

The first phase of Upazila Parishad election has completed in Bangladesh yesterday. The election was completely free and fair under the election commission. People came in polling center with their utmost interest to vote for their candidates and enjoyed voting unlike past experience. In the first phase of election, a young man named “Saleh Uddin Razu” has been elected as an Upazila Vice-Chairman in kamalnagar upazila of Lakshmipur. It is learned that he is the youngest Upazila vice-chairman in country’s history under the age of 25 year-4month-10 days (Till 8 May), according to NID. The polling symbol of the candidate was CHOSMA (sunglases). Candidate has gained total 28,103 votes and won the election of 4,051 vote’s margin contrary to his close opponent.

When Daily Post asked the candidate about the feeling of being a youngest vice-chairman in country’s history he said, “I feel quite good, happy and gratitude to my people, to my family and friends, brothers, advisers and to co-workers whose unbelievable efforts made me vice-chairman today. Especial gratitude to my political brother Rubel ahmed, The former Organizing secretary of Lakshmipur district chatra league whose dedication and sacrifice was special and crucial for winning the election. And lastly, I feel so much responsibility ever than before as people made it possible with their love and trust on me. I will try my best to keep working on that.”
